A science instructor who teaches courses that range from anatomy and physiology to earth and space science, Steven A. Field, MD, has worked with the Hillsborough County School District for nearly a decade. In addition to his position with this central Florida school system, he has taught biotechnology courses at Tampa’s Hillsborough Community College since 2015. Steven A. Field, MD, has also served as a visiting professor at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In addition to his career as an educator, Dr. Field has treated patients as a private practitioner and a physician with multiple medical facilities. He is also an accomplished healthcare administrator who has served as an executive board member with the Florida Association of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, an ergonomics committee member with the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and deputy director of the Occupational Medicine Residency program at the University of South Florida.
